The Supervisory Board will nominate Mr F.D. (Frans) de Koning for appointment to Royal Vopak’s Executive Board for a period of four years during the Annual General Meeting to be held on 28 April 2005. Following his appointment, the Executive Board will comprise four members.
Frans de Koning (55) was until recently Senior Vice President at Shell Exploration & Production Company in Houston, USA. Before that he held various positions at the Royal Dutch/Shell Group in the Netherlands and abroad as from 1976. In the Netherlands he was Director of Shell Moerdijk and Shell Pernis, and Director of Shell Nederland.
On the Executive Board, Mr de Koning will be responsible among other things for Technique, Operations and Safety.
