About
Engro Elengy Terminal Pakistan (LNG) is the first LNG import facility in Pakistan, adjacent to the Engro Vopak chemical terminal on the mainland side of the channel into Port Qasim and has been in operation since 2015.
The imported LNG is unloaded at the FSRU, stored and evaporated to natural gas before it is delivered to the transmission network for the Pakistan market. The terminal has a throughput capacity of 6.2 billion cubic meters per year (bcma).
The shareholders in EETPL are Engro (56%) and Royal Vopak (44%).
