Latin America Division
Vopak operates 14 terminals in Latin America, the vast majority of which are used for the storage of chemicals (often imported) and vegetable oil (mainly exported).
With a total storage capacity of almost 1 million cubic meters the terminals are strategically located in seven countries of the region: Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela.
At present, the storage of mineral oils remains limited to Peru. To achieve economies of scale for our customers, our storage terminals are often used for a range of product groups such as chemicals and edible oils. Customers are major regional players and multinationals.
